About Us

ABOUT OUR PUPPIES

Our Puppies are Home-Raised with Lots of Love and Care. We have few litters/puppies a year. We have put a lot of time and money into aquiring our Mommies and Daddies.  The are not LINE BRED or IN BRED. Line breeding which means there are many of the same dog in a pedigree (they mostly do this with Champion Dogs they want to use the Champion Male as much as they can to get another Champion). This produces a weakness in the DNA CHAIN and most of these puppies end up with Liver Shunts and Heart Murmurs.  Our Puppies are Raised in our Home. They are used to a Home Environment which includes the temp. , the noises and the feeling of Home. I (Carol) am always up no matter what time the Mommy decides to have her puppies.  So I am always there just in case she needs help.  We closely observe the pups the first couple weeks especially. They are given wormer to prevent worms at the important times and they have their first shot before they go ( depending on age sometimes they have 2 shots or all their shots). They are picked up and played with several times a day. We always have Super Happy Puppies  Ready to Bond with Their New Owner/Family !!!

ABOUT US

We are a mother and daughter team. We have had Toy Poodles for years and raised a couple litters in 1997 then stopped before we started again in 2004 with a Litter of Poodles, at the same time My mother fell in love with the Bichon Frise when she saw one in a grooming shop and decided to search for a pair to raise from. I always loved the Poodle but had always wanted a Maltese. So I decided to get a pair of Maltese in 2004 as well. We decided to start raising Havanese as well and got our Female in 2007. Our Male we were very Lucky to find/get and got him as an young adult in 2008. We both Fell in Love with all the breeds we have. It is easy because they are all such great Breeds. The Bichon Frise, Havanese and Maltese are all in the Bichon Family. All our Breeds are Non-Shedding and Hypoallergenic. Which means they have a dander that people are not Allergic to. This is our Hobby that we devote our time to 24/7. All of our Adults and Puppies are inside our Home. They are born in My Bedroom and then moved into our Living Room once weaned. It is not our source of Income since we only make enough to pay for our expenses. They are all part of our family which comes first , we just let them have babies and enjoy raising them. We do not breed them for Commercial purposes and we are not a Commercial Kennel, so we only have a few litters in each breed every year.

We started our Website up in 2006 and Have had the same website name and contact names since then. I love keeping up our website so people can watch our puppies grow.

ABOUT OUR ADULT DOGS

All of our Males wear Male Wraps/Belly Bands (which are like male diapers). Our dogs are housebroken and use wee wee pads when they cannot go outside(when it's raining, freezing, etc.) Our females don't have litter after litter. We skip their heats every other heat or sometimes even every 2 heats. So they are not always having puppies. We always skip our new female's first heat or first two heats depending on size. So they are at least 1.5-2yrs old when they have their first litter. We have a special room (Which is set up like a living room, they have their own sofa, chair and T.V.) and a side yard for our females when they come into heat so they are separate from our other dogs. When we know it is time we breed the male we want with a certain female. We are extremely careful about parentage. We also have a dog room for our other dogs, though they spend most of their time with us (in the living room/back sun room) they have the run of the front yard, living room, back sun room, back deck, backyard, dog room, side sun room and other side yard (opposite from female side yard). They go out to their yards to play at bathroom times/play times. We only have vinyl floors throughout our house. So it is easy to keep clean.

All our Dogs are Micro Chipped for identification purposes according to AKC guidelines. We also keep binders with a record of each dog/mating and litters according to AKC rules/guidelines.
